1. CONTEST PERIOD

Entry Period: September 26, 2025 at 12:00:01 AM EDT through October 25, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM EDT ("Contest Period")

Registration Deadline: October 25, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM EDT

Winner Drawing: October 31, 2025

Winner Notification: On or before November 3, 2025

2. ELIGIBILITY

Who Can Enter:

Legal residents of Ohio, aged 18 years or older at time of entry

Must be homeowners or primary decision-makers for residential HVAC services

Must reside within SouthTowne's service area (Southwest Ohio: Butler, Montgomery, Warren, Clermont, Hamilton, and Greene Counties)

Who Cannot Enter:

Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of SouthTowne Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, LLC and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and household members

Previous winners of SouthTowne contests within the past 12 months

Professional HVAC contractors or employees of competing HVAC companies

Individuals who have filed bankruptcy or are involved in legal disputes with Sponsor

Additional Requirements:

Only one entry per household/address

Participants must own or have legal authority to install HVAC equipment at the property address provided

Property must be suitable for residential HVAC installation (single-family homes, townhomes, or condominiums with individual HVAC systems)

3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

This is a contest based on completion of entry requirements, not a random drawing. Winners are determined by completing all contest stages, not by chance alone.

4. HOW TO ENTER

Stage 1: Social Media Engagement (Required)

Complete ALL of the following on SouthTowne's official Facebook page (@CallSouthTowne):

Like the official contest post

Tag one person who you think deserves to win in the comments

Share the contest post publicly on your timeline

Comment "SUPPORT LOCAL" on the contest post

Complete the entry form sent via direct message after commenting

Entry Form Requirements:

Full name, address, phone number, email

Estimated age/year of current HVAC system

Brief description of "your story" (why you need/deserve a new system)

Stage 2: Yard Sign Display (Doubles Entry Chances)

Allow SouthTowne to install a branded yard sign at your property

Sign must remain displayed for minimum 2 weeks during contest period

Sponsor will schedule installation at no cost to participant

Failure to maintain sign display may result in disqualification

5. ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY (AMOE)

Mail-In Entry Option: For those unable or unwilling to use social media, send a hand-written letter including:

Full name, address, phone number, email

Statement: "I wish to enter the SouthTowne HVAC Contest"

Estimated age of current HVAC system

Brief story (why you need/deserve new system) - 500 words maximum

Requirements for Mail-In Entries:

Must be postmarked by October 25, 2025

One entry per envelope

Mail-in entrants automatically receive participation prize eligibility

6. PRIZES

Grand Prize (1 Winner)

Complete Goodman HVAC System Installation

Approximate Retail Value: $10,000

Includes: New furnace, air conditioning unit, installation labor, basic ductwork modifications, permits, standard warranty

Winner responsible for: Electrical upgrades if required, extensive ductwork replacement (beyond basic modifications), cosmetic repairs

Limitations:

System size and specifications determined by professional assessment

Installation must occur within 6 months of winning

Standard residential installation only (no commercial or complex custom work)

Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other items

Participation Prizes (All Other Qualified Entrants)

Service Credit Certificate

Value: Up to $500 toward any new SouthTowne installation

Valid for: 2 months from issuance

Applies to: HVAC installation only

Cannot be combined with other offers

Non-transferable, no cash value

7. WINNER SELECTION

Selection Process:

All participants who complete Required Stages to become eligible for Grand Prize

If multiple participants complete all stages, winner selected by random drawing conducted by independent third party

Drawing conducted on October 31, 2025 at SouthTowne offices

Winner notified by phone and email within 1 business day

Alternate winner selected if first choice cannot be reached within 72 hours

Winner Requirements:

Must respond to notification within 24 hours

Complete and return Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release within 10 days

Provide valid identification and proof of homeownership

Submit to background check for service technician access to home

Comply with installation scheduling within 6 months

8. TAXES AND FEES

Tax Responsibility:

Winner responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prize value

Sponsor will issue IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued over $600

Winner may consult tax professional regarding tax implications

Prize cannot be reduced to account for tax liability

Additional Costs:

Winner responsible for any electrical, plumbing, or structural work beyond standard installation

Permits and inspections included in prize value

Extended warranties available at winner's expense

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Disqualification Grounds:

Providing false information

Attempting to circumvent rules

Harassment of Sponsor staff or other participants

Failure to complete any required stage

Violation of social media platform terms

Property unsuitable for installation

Sponsor Rights:

Verify eligibility and compliance with rules

Disqualify participants who violate rules

Modify contest timeline due to circumstances beyond control

Cancel contest if insufficient qualified entries

Use winner information and likeness for promotional purposes

Limitation of Liability:

Sponsor not responsible for technical failures, lost entries, or injuries

Participants enter at own risk

Prize awarded "as is" without additional warranties

Sponsor liability limited to prize replacement value

10. DATA PRIVACY

Information Collection:

Personal information used only for contest administration and winner notification

Email addresses may be added to SouthTowne newsletter (opt-out available)

Information not sold to third parties

Data retention per Ohio business records requirements

Marketing Communications:

Participants may receive follow-up communications about SouthTowne services

11. DISPUTES AND LEGAL

Governing Law:

Contest governed by laws of State of Ohio

Disputes resolved in courts of Montgomery County, Ohio

Participants waive right to jury trial and class action

Final Decisions:

All decisions by Sponsor regarding contest administration are final

Interpretation of rules solely at Sponsor's discretion

No appeals process for disqualification decisions

Winner Publicity:

Winner agrees to use of name, likeness, and story for promotional purposes

No additional compensation for promotional use

Reasonable efforts made to respect winner privacy preferences

12. FACEBOOK DISCLAIMER

Platform Independence:

Contest not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Inc.

Participants release Facebook from any contest-related claims

Information provided to SouthTowne, not Facebook

Contest subject to Facebook Community Standards

13. ADDITIONAL TERMS

Professional Installation:

All work performed by licensed, insured technicians

Installation meets Ohio building codes and manufacturer specifications

Standard warranty terms apply to equipment and installation

Winner may request to observe installation process

System Specifications:

Equipment selection based on home assessment and professional recommendation

Energy efficiency ratings meet current federal standards

System sized appropriately for home square footage and layout

Basic programmable thermostat included

Contest Modifications:

Sponsor reserves right to modify rules with 48-hour notice posted on website

Material changes require new opt-in from participants

Contest may be cancelled due to insufficient entries or legal issues

Force majeure events may extend contest timeline
